The wait is over

It’s been a long time coming, but TaylorMade have announced the arrival of their new revolutionary driver, the SLDR. It features a sliding weight system which is engineered to launch the golf ball high, fast and long. Maximum yardage comes from combining high launch, low spin and fast ball speed and this new driver is designed to help you with all of this and increase your loft.

TaylorMade’s chief technical officer Benoit Vincent claims it is “without a doubt the longest driver we have ever created” which is a bold statement to make, however with pros such as Darren Clarke, Carl Pettersson, Johnson Wagner and Justin Leonard personally endorsing this club, you can understand why there is so much hype around it. The SLDR is currently the #1 driver model on the PGA tour and since being introduced in July, has already amassed 9 worldwide wins.

TaylorMade have come a long way since introducing their first movable weight driver to the market nearly 10 years ago. But the new sliding system is a significant leap forward in its quest to engineer a driver that offers outstanding performance with simple intuitive technology.

Golfers have to choice of choosing from 12 positions with a range of plus or minus 1.5 degrees of loft change.
